MICHAEL HUBNER

Long Range Planning Manager, City of Seattle

Michael Hubner, AICP, is the Long Range Planning Manager in the City of Seattle Office of Planning and Community Development. Michael has more than 20 years of experience working with cities and regional agencies to plan for growth toward a future that is equitable, affordable, prosperous, and sustainable. He is currently project manager for a major update of Seattle’s Comprehensive Plan, which will set new direction for the next 20 years and beyond. Previously, he served as a principal planner with the Puget Sound Regional Council. Michael, a long-time Seattle resident with East Coast roots, enjoys exploring the city and region on foot and bicycle and talking about planning policy.

Matthias Olt is a celebrated architect known for his innovative and environmentally conscious designs. As a design leader at his architectural firm, he seamlessly blends modern aesthetics with sustainability, emphasizing energy-efficient technologies, eco-friendly materials, and a strong connection to the natural world. Olt's work has garnered numerous awards and has set new standards for environmentally responsible architecture, influencing both the industry and a new generation of architects to prioritize ecological considerations in their designs. With a German architecture diploma from the University of Applied Sciences in Frankfurt and a background in chemical science, Matthias Olt brings a diverse skill set to his role as a Principal, Studio Design Lead, and Studio Manager at Arcadis, contributing significantly to the firm's ongoing success.

Associate Principal, Spectrum Development Solutions

Kaitlin is a versatile professional deeply engaged in all aspects of development, with a keen focus on entitlement, feasibility, financial analysis, design, and comprehensive project management. With over nine years of dedicated service at Spectrum, she takes the lead on multifamily housing projects and initiatives related to community impact and mixed-income housing. Her expertise lies in tackling multifaceted and intricate projects that involve extensive community outreach and address diversity, equity, and inclusion requirements. Currently, Kaitlin spearheads Spectrum's Ironside project in Spokane, oversees the Shoreline portfolio, and recently successfully concluded the development of Orenda at Othello Square and contributed to the completion of the Ballard Food Bank project.
